What to remember when buying a cast iron boiler?

Cast iron boilers consist of sections joined together. All sections are factory sealed. The manufacturer recommends that after receiving the boiler, the tightness between the blocks should be checked. This can be easily checked by inserting a luminous flashlight into the boiler. In addition, it is recommended to reseal the boiler with high-temperature silicone. Factory-made silicone hardens over time and its excess may crumble. Orange coating may appear on the boilers over time, but it does not affect the efficiency and lifetime of the boiler.
